The Individual Rescue and Recovery Device is designed for a steady descent at a constant speed of up to 1.5 m/s. Descent is possible both independently and with the help of a second person (rescuer). Included in the rescue and evacuation systems in accordance with the order of the Ministry of Labour of Russia “On approval of the rules of labour protection when working at heights”.
It is used when carrying out rescue and evacuation work at enterprises in case of a worker’s breakdown and hang-up. Allowed to make the descent of the victim with a companion.
The maximum height of the single descent of one user 500 meters, two users of 250 meters at the request of the customer can make any meterage of the working rope up to 500 meters in increments of 1 meter.
The device includes a wheel with a hinged handle for lifting the user.
Device for descent and evacuation including is necessary at the workplaces of lifting devices, located above 5 m, which should be provided by means of evacuation from height (means of self-rescue).
Individual rescue device eliminates the possibility of a free fall of the user during descent, as well as a sudden stop of the descent.
