A kapron positioning sling is a component of a workplace positioning system used to connect a lap belt to an anchor point or structure, encompassing it as a means of support. It is allowed to be used as a restraining sling to limit the movements of the user (to prevent the user from getting into an area where there is a risk of falling from height). Used in conjunction with a harness for holding and positioning.
It is equipped with a special length adjustment mechanism, which can be adjusted with one hand and a special tubular protector which protects the textile part from being cut and sheared in the case of a fall.
The sling knots are protected by a rope shackle and a transparent heat shrink tube, allowing for visual control.
