The RAILS anchor line (anchoring device type D), which has a steel, C-shaped profile, is used for fall protection as a component of the lifeline system and can also be used in rope access operations as a secure attachment point for the main and the lifeline.
RAILS is mounted above the user’s head.
It has:
steel profile, with an internal arrangement of movable anchor points that protects the movable parts of the anchor line from the harshest conditions of use (extreme temperatures, dust, dirt, wet environment), which increases the fault tolerance of the belaying system;
movable anchor points on 4 castors;
end anchor points for attaching to a steel or reinforced concrete structure;
intermediate anchor points.
The rigid anchoring line has no sag, allowing it to be used in working areas with low height from ground/floor level.
The anchor line can be integrated with a support truss up to 6m in length, whereby there is a configuration with two parallel RAILS profiles, allowing two users to diverge when working at height.
RAILS is mounted on steel structures and L-shaped supports/ brackets.
All RAILS elements are laser engraved.
